Practice what you preach

What we believe should affect how we behave. I cannot call myself a Christian and ignore that fact. I believe the reason a lot of people have misconceptions about Christ and the bible is because far to many people that have called themselves christians conformed themselves in their appearance on the outside to the "christian" expectations of the concesus view of the church they were in. Unfortunately most churches don't accurately portray who Jesus is, and or what a christian should be. They begin to think that because they are outwardly conformed, that they are fine when they are in fact inwardly conformed to the things that Jesus is against. This is the case with most of the hypocritical pastors and christians that many of my friends and people I know exptremely dislike and see their obvious hypocrisies. Like the christian church promoting slavery for example. Since this problem is so prominent in the world and this country. Our president for example. I understand why so many have an misconception of what a christian is or what they believe. And, when you see so many people who call themselves Christians, do horrible things, why would you want to learn more about their religion.

I wish that everyone could know and understand the nature of God and how he wants his believers to live, the best way for me to explain are these words in Galatians 5:22-23, But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. If all christians held to those standards there wouldn't be any christian hypocrites.

How I feel

Many people I know just assume that I am against abortion because of my religious beliefs. It is easy for them to then conclude that my opinion is just religious ignorance, and has no place in today's world. I'm writing this blog in hopes of clearing some of this up, and to hopefully show some of the people in my life that my view deserves respect because my view is an educated view. Not the mindless follow the sheep, follow the herd, "religious ignorance" that they like to label it as.I believe that there are absolute truths. To say that there are no absolutes is stating an absolute, further proving that there are absolutes. I searched for the absolute truth in the abortion debate, and these where the things that I found to be validating points that scientifically and philosophically prove abortion to be absolutely wrong.

I'm going to start with planned parenthood foundress Margaret Sanger. In 1937, Sanger gave a speech on behalf of those "too inarticulate to speak for themselves." In her speech she said the following about blocking the procreation of so-called undesirables:
- "(It) makes possible the spread of scientific knowledge of the elements of sound breeding. It makes possible the creation of a new race; a generation brought into this world consciously conceived. It makes possible the breeding out of human weeds - the defective and criminal classes - and the breeding in of the clean, strong and fit instruments to carry the torch of human destiny."
Margaret Sanger proposed her 2 step plan to the U.S. Congress, to establish a "Parliament of Population".
1. To control the intake and output of morons, mental defectives, epileptics.
2. To "take an inventory of the secondary group such as illiterates, paupers, unemployables, criminals, prostitutes, dopefriends (potheads); clasify them in special departments under government medical protection, and segregate them on farms..."
Sanger also had a pretty negative view of Australian, Jewish, and Italian families, she called aboriginal Australians "the lowest known species of the human family, just a step higher than the chimpanzee in brain development." She referred to blacks, immigrants and indigents as "...human weeds,' 'reckless breeders,' 'spawning... human beings who never should have been born." -Pivot of Civilization

On page 194 of An Autobiography (her own autobiography) Sanger admitted her entire life's purpose was to promote birth control. She wrote in the Birth Control Review Nov 1921 pg 2 That the purpose of promoting birth control was "to create a race of thorough breds".
Margaret Sanger founded Planned Parenthood, not because she believed in "a woman's right to choose", but because she was a believer and follower of Hitler's plan for the perfect race, and wanted to "weed out" our country.
Today, Planned Parenthood vigorously supports Margaret Sanger's philosophies:In 1992, Planned Parenthood's immediate past president, FayeWattleton, won Planned Parenthood's coveted Margaret Sanger Award. The following is quoted from Planned Parenthood Federation America's 1992 Annual Report, page 13: "THE PPFA MARGARET SANGERAWARD, *,* was presented in 1992to former PPFA President Faye Wattleton. Planned Parenthood'snational leader from 1978 until March 1992, Ms. Wattleton exemplifiedthe courage ** of Margaret Sanger,*PPFA's founder." Planned Parenthood also has a Margaret Sanger Clinic. Please visit http://www.ewtn.com/library/PROLIFE/PPRACISM.TXT for more information about The Racism of Planned Parenthood today.

Planned Parenthood today is held high as such the saint in our society. Not many people know or want to know about their dark side that lists to long for this blog. I encourage you to find the facts and educate yourself if human rights and freedoms are something that is important to you. This business made $58,800,000 from abortions alone in 1999, not to mention the money they make from trafficking baby body parts after the abortions been done, that they use to fund their horrible addgenda.

~Just 18 days after conception the babies heart is beating.
~At 8 Weeks, brain waves can be measured...At 8 weeks, the stomach, liver, kidneys, and brain are functioning. Fingerprints have been formed.
People like to think that at this stage, the embryo is just a blob of tissue, not a human, not alive, but it is scientific fact that brain waves can be measured, and it has a beating heart. Name something dead that is growing, tell me how this embryo isn't human, when it has human parents and a fingerprint. This is human, and it is alive, it is a human life. All abortions are performed after this point due to infection risks in the mother.

What Is Abortion?

There are many different ways an abortion can be performed. Different methods are used under different circumstances and after different developments of the embryo or fetus. No method of abortion is 100% safe, and no method is 100% successful.
..>
Methotrexate Injection
Performed in the early first trimester. Methotrexate is injected and begins to attack the cells surrounding the embryo.1 The embryo is deprived of food and oxygen, and eventually dies. Several days later, misoprostol is injected to trigger the expulsion of the embryo. This expulsion may not occur for as long as eight weeks2, and the woman may bleed heavily3. The actual expulsion may occur at any moment and in any place 4. In about 4% of cases, expulsion does not occur and surgery is required 2.This is not a common form of abortion because Methotrexate is toxic and has many common side-effects, such as nausea, pain, diarrhea, and increased chance of cancer, anemia, and lung disease5.
Suction Aspiration(vacuum curettage)
The most common (98%) form of first trimester abortion6. The cervix is dilated, and a powerful vacuum tube with a sharp cutting edge is inserted. The suction rips apart the body of the baby, and sucks out blood, amniotic fluid, tissue, and body parts7. The most frequent post-abortion complication occurs with this method. If any fetal or placental tissue is left behind in the uterus, infection can develop.
Dilatation and Curettage (D&C)
Generally performed in the first or early second trimester. The cervix is dilated or stretched to permit the insertion of a loop shaped steel knife. The body of the fetus is cut up and removed from the placenta7. Blood loss and likelihood of uterine perforation are relatively high in this form of abortion8.
Dilation and Evacuation (D&E)
Generally performed in the second trimester, this is similar to D&C. Forceps are used to rip away pieces of the developing body and remove them from the womb. Because the skull has often hardened by this time, it may have to be crushed for removal. Bone fragments from the crushed skull can easily puncture the cervix, causing high blood loss9.
Prostaglandins Injection
Performed during the second trimester. Prostaglandins, naturally occurring birthing hormones, are injected to prematurely induce labor. Oftentimes the baby is delivered alive10. Permanent placental, cervical, and cardiovascular side-effects are common. Even death is possible11.
Saline Amniocentesis (Salt Poisoning)
This method, first used in Nazi concentration camps and now common in America, is performed during the second or early third trimester. A needle is injected into the abdomen, and 50-250ml of amniotic liquid is removed12. This is replaced by a concentrated salt that burns away and deteriorates the baby's skin13. Within three days the mother goes into labor and delivers a dead, burned baby14.This concentrated salt may cause severe hemmorage, cervical injuries, or side effects to the nervous system such as seizures or coma15.
Urea Injection
Performed during the second or early third trimester. This is performed just like Salt Poisoning, however it is not as strong. Though not as dangerous as Salt Poisoning, Urea Injection increases the chance of a failed abortion, which usually results in surgery. Almost 2% of Urea Injection patients must be hospitalized for side-effects16.
Hysterotomy
Performed during the third trimester, this is usually performed if other forms of abortion are unsuccessful. Incisions are made in the abdomen, and the baby, placenta, and amniotic sac are removed. Babies are often removed alive during the operation7.The risk to the mother's health is greatest in this form of abortion, and the chance of complications during later pregnancies is greatly increased8.
Partial Birth Abortion
Performed during the late second or third trimester. Using ultrasound, the abortionist grasps the baby's leg with forceps, and partially forcefully delivers all but the head. Scissors are then jammed into the back of the babies skull, and the wound is pryed open. A powerful vacuum tube is inserted and sucks out the baby's brain...>
"Dilatation and evacuation, for example, where fetal tissue is progressively punctured, ripped, and crushed, and which is done after 13 weeks when the fetus certainly responds to noxious stimuli, would cause organic pain in the fetus. Saline amnioinfusion, where a highly concentrated salt solution burns away the outer skin of the fetus, also qualifies as a noxious stimulus [pain]."
The facts about the abortion procedure really shook me up when I first learned about them. Growing up, what you learn in school and from media is that a fetus is a blob of tissue. They don't tell you that they feel the pain of the procedure, and they don't tell you how horrible the procedure is. I wouldn't want to be burned alive by chemicals, would you? I ask you now, what makes a fetus supposedly so much different then a newborn to actually loose its self worth and value making it ok to be killed by any woman at any stage of its development?
Is it size? -Are large people more human or better than small people? Why would this theory only apply to the unborn, and not anywhere else in our society?

Is it Level of Development? - Would you agree that the fetus or embryo is smaller than a newborn? If self awareness and intelligence define us as human beings, that means that those of us that are more intelligent should have the right to exploit those of us who's GPA's weren't so high in High School, that would also mean that we are on a gigantic bell curve, we start off with very little rights of personhood and very little self consciousness and we gradually gain personhood as we reach our physical and intellectual peeks and then we gradually loose personhood as we age. Is that your view? Then it shouldn't be imposed on just the fetus either.
Environment And Location -How does birth make a fetus a human or valuable? How does where you are have and bearing on who you are. When you rolled over in bed last night did you stop being you? You change location everyday, does that effect who you are? And if not, how does a simple journey of just 8 inches down the birth canal, or being removed by c section change a blob of tissue into a protectable human life we value and respect? How does it do that?

Degree of Dependency -If our ability to live independent of anyone or anything is our definition of what makes us valuable or a human being, then we have a problem. People rely on caregivers & insulin, without those things they would die, should we be able to kill those people? Does it mean that they are less human or less valuable than us? Than why is it only the unborn that is held at this measurement. So what makes a fetus supposedly so much different then a newborn to actually loose its self worth and value making it ok to be killed by any woman at any stage of its development?
The only thing that I can come up with is that an unwanted newborn, a "mistake" is just that unwanted. And it's an inconvenience to the mother, that is what makes it different. I've decided to stick up for the voiceless, I've decided to stand up for the underdog....No I don't believe that a human baby should be put threw such a cruel, painful, experience, because its mom thought it was to inconvenient to be pregnant...especially since she had sex knowing that babies come from sex.(only %1percent of abortions in this country happen because of rape, not that I support those either). So I have some friends that don't respect my views, even though my views are out of love for the most pure, innocent, smallest underdogs of us all. When compared to the pro choice movement, which seems to be based on just selfishness, and happens to been started by a Nazi...I know I've made the right choice, and it wont be swayed by whether or not this blog has earned some credit, or respect among my friends. But I do hope it has shed some light into their hearts about me.

"I really don't believe that one sets out in life planning to be an artist the way they would a lawyer, accountant or stockbroker. Instead, I think it's a calling -- it finds you. Being an artist is by no means easy, and one wouldn't intentionally choose a difficult journey without good reason. As much as being an artist is a gift, the concept of the artist is often romanticized and made to appear glamorous, when so often, it is just as much a burden. I really don't think someone consciously chooses to be an artist at all, but rather, nothing else fits or makes sense. I’m mad as hell, and I’m not going to take it anymore

I don't have to tell you things are bad. Everybody knows things are bad. It's a depression. Everybody's out of work or scared of losing their job. The dollar buys a nickel's work, banks are going bust, shopkeepers keep a gun under the counter. Punks are running wild in the street and there's nobody anywhere who seems to know what to do, and there's no end to it. We know the air is unfit to breathe and our food is unfit to eat, and we sit watching our TV's while some local newscaster tells us that today we had fifteen homicides and sixty-three violent crimes, as if that's the way it's supposed to be. We know things are bad - worse than bad. They're crazy. It's like everything everywhere is going crazy, so we don't go out anymore. We sit in the house, and slowly the world we are living in is getting smaller, and all we say is, 'Please, at least leave us alone in our living rooms. Let me have my toaster and my TV and my steel-belted radials and I won't say anything. Just leave us alone.' Well, I'm not gonna leave you alone. I want you to get mad! I don't want you to protest. I don't want you to riot - I don't want you to write to your congressman because I wouldn't know what to tell you to write. I don't know what to do about the depression and the inflation and the war in Iraq and the crime in the street. All I know is that first you've got to get mad. You've got to say, 'I'm a HUMAN BEING, Dammit! My life has VALUE!'.... Things have got to change. But first, you've gotta get mad!... You've got to say, 'I'M AS MAD AS HELL, AND I'M NOT GOING TO TAKE IT ANYMORE' Then we'll figure out what to do about the depression and the inflation and the oil crisis.
